Nicole Bell Webster, Clinical Nurse Educator
Kristina Tocek, Occupational Therapist
The nursing staff is responsible for the day-to-day care of your child. All nurses working in the Paediatric Unit are specialized in paediatric nursing.
Our nurses work 8 and 12 hour shifts.
Shift changes are as follows:
The resource nurse (sometimes called a “charge nurse”) coordinates daily care on the unit, providing continuity of care to our patients and families. In this role, the resource nurse also offers clinical support and leadership to the inter-professional team.
The secretaries will welcome you at the reception desk and when you call into the unit. They can also assist you with general questions about the paediatric in-patient unit.
