New Governors Join NYGH Board

Toronto, Ontario (June 14) – North York General Hospital (NYGH) is pleased to announce the election of three new Governors to our Board of Governors and to recognize outgoing Governors for their service. At NYGH’s Annual General Meeting on June 13, the following new members were welcomed to the Board of Governors:

Robert Sankey is currently the Chief Executive Officer at Burgundy Asset Management Ltd.  Actively involved in Governance within various sectors, Robert also currently serves on the Board of Directors for Cystic Fibrosis Canada and is a member of YPO International. Learn more.

Dr. Christine Williams (Ph.D.) is an immunologist and currently serves as the Executive Vice President and Head of Implementation Science at Ontario Institute for Cancer Research (OICR). She is also a member of several boards and advisory committees related to cancer research and therapeutics. Learn more.

Toni Rossi is President of the Real Estate Division at Infrastructure Ontario where she leads one of the largest real estate portfolios in Canada. She is also currently Director for Habitat for Humanity Canada, Vice-Chair for the REALPAC Board and served as Board Chair for Habitat Toronto. Learn more.

NYGH’s Board of Governors is also very pleased to welcome a new community member, Divya Khan. Divya has over 12 years of experience in project financing and developing public infrastructure projects. Her current role is Senior Director with the Investments team at Canada Infrastructure Bank.

We also recognize and thank two esteemed Governors who are concluding their terms: Sheila Jarvis and Dr. Louise Lemieux-Charles (Ph.D.).
