Patient and Family Advisory Forums

Patient and Family Advisory Forums are one way to involve patient and family advisors in the co-design of our work. This represents an evolution away from our Patient and Family Advisory Council (PFAC) as we continuously evolve the way in which we partner with advisors in our work. The Forums are a half day event open to all Patient and Family Advisors and consists of program engagement, capacity building, Gemba Walks and guest speakers. Agendas are created in collaboration with NYGH staff, physicians and PFAs through the Patient and Family Advisory Planning Committee.  The goals of the forums are to provide advanced access to work happening at NYGH and opportunities for teams to engage advisors in the design of initiatives for our programs.
