NYGH physicians receive Peters-Boyd Academy awards

Three North York General Hospital physicians have been honoured by the Peters-Boyd Academy of Medicine.

Dr. Rick Penciner, Director of Medical Education and Co-Lead of the Centre for Education at North York General, is the recipient of the Director's Special Award.Dr. Penciner was selected by the Director of the Peters-Boyd Academy, Dr. Eugenia Piliotis, based on her personal observations of his significant contribution and support to the Academy.

Dr. Brian Wall is the recipient of the 2015–2016 Peters Boyd Academy Clerkship Faculty Teaching Award for his contributions to clinical teaching. Dr. Edward Jin is the recipient of the 2015–2016 Peters Boyd Academy Clerkship Faculty Teaching Award for his contributions to Longitudinal Integrated Clerkship Teaching (LInC). Drs. Wall and Jin are being recognized for their teaching skills and providing students with an invaluable learning experience.
 
The awards will be presented on May 3, 2016, at the 2016 Peters-Boyd Academy Student and Teaching Awards.
