North York General Hospital participates in the Ontario Telehealth Network (OTN) – the largest two-way network in the world using video-conferencing. We participate in over 700 video-conferencing education events each year.
Video-conferencing is used extensively for rounds, seminars, workshops, lectures and other educational events as both a host and participating as a remote site. In addition, video-conferencing is used for patient consults to remote areas and for meetings.
Video conferenced events at NYGH are for our staff and physicians and require a login.

Each program and department at NYGH has a designated Program Coordinator for video-conferencing who can provide support for an event.
To schedule a recurring event: contact your Program Coordinator.

Information Services provides technical support for internal telemedicine network and equipment, and OTN events during the hours of 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday to Friday. Information Services can be reached at 416-756-6074
