Information Desk

NYGH volunteers staff an information desk at the Branson Ambulatory Care Centre. They will be happy to answer your questions and direct you.

Hours: Monday to Friday: 8 a.m.–2:30 p.m.
Weekends and statutory holidays: closed
Interpretation Service

If you would like an interpreter to help you communicate with a member of the health care team, please speak with your nurse or the staff member booking your appointment. More on our intepretation services.

Lost and Found

Inpatients, or visitors who lose an item on an inpatient floor, should ask their nurse if the item has been turned in. You can also contact Security at 416.633.9420 to see if the item has been turned in. If you find an item, please give it to your nurse or give it to volunteers at the Information Desk located in the Branson Ambulatory Care Centre's main entrance lobby.


Newspaper boxes are located outside the Branson Ambulatory Care Centre's main entrances.

Pharmacy (Outpatient Drug Store)

Location: First floor, near the Urgent Care Centre
Hours: Monday to Friday from 9 a.m.–4:30 p.m. (closed for lunch 11:30 a.m.-12 p.m.)
Closed Saturday, Sunday and statutory holidays.

If you would like to have your prescription filled, please drop by or call 416-635-2588. The drug store also offers a selection of over-the-counter medications and medical supplies as well as patient medication counseling and education services.

Free Medication Assessment
If you take three or more prescription medications for chronic conditions, you are eligible to receive a free annual medication assessment as part of the MedsCheck Program. This is an individualized one-on-one pharmacist to patient medication assessment and educational session. Meds Check Program
